We offer comprehensive eye exams for all ages, in-depth ocular imaging, prescription eyewear, fashion eyewear (regular sunglasses), safety eyewear, contact lenses, and much more! You can schedule you eye exam online though our facebook page, or our website booking page.

Our Team
Dr. Tatevik Shaboyan
Optometrist
Dr. Shaboyan is the founder and owner of Brightway Optometry. She takes great pride in her practice, and strives to deliver highest quality patient care.
She has obtained a Doctor of Optometry degree from the University of Waterloo. Throughout her studies, Dr. Shaboyan was a member of the Dean's Honour Roll. She completed ocular disease training at the Lexington Veteran Affairs Hospital, providing care to patients with cataracts, glaucoma, diabetes, and other conditions. She has also trained with doctors in Toronto and observed ocular surgeries such as cataract, retina, and LASIK.

She offers routine and emergency vision care, and welcomes patients as young as 6 months of age for their first eye exam.
​
Dr. Shaboyan is a strong advocate for humanitarianism. She has gone on mission trips to Honduras, Peru, China, Thailand and Malaysia to provide vision care to underprivileged communities. She has also helped in local hospitals in Armenia, promoting routine eyecare.

In her spare time, Dr. Shaboyan enjoys artwork, music, reading, and spending time with close friends and family. She is excited to be practicing in such a vibrant city, and is dedicated to providing quality eyecare to all her patients.
Donna Parker
Receptionist
Donna Parker is our receptionist. She brings 20 years of experience in clinical management and administration at various medical facilities, including doctors & midwifery offices and clinics. Her warm nature lends to her ability to ensure that our patients are comfortable and knowledgeable about their care.
In her spare time, Donna enjoys walking, hiking, visiting her friends & family down east and her dog Lily, with a focus on creating a good life balance . She is very excited to bring her smile and join the team at Brightway Optometry.
Sara Saad
Receptionist
Sara is a receptionist at Brightway Optometry. She is dedicated to assisting and interacting with customers in regard to their vision care needs. She will greet you kindly at the front desk and offer you the assistance you need.

She is an undergraduate student at the University of Toronto, focusing on human biology and physiology. She is interested in pursuing optometry as a career and is eager to learn about the field.

In her spare time, Sara likes to read, walk, and travel with her sisters.
